  • jade_s rated it 4/5 - Semaglutide fit my life better than keto ever did: I tried semaglutide for about 4 months because, honestly, after long days building my startup and too much sitting in Germany winter, my weight was creeping up and I wanted something that helped me stop thinking about food all the time. For me it took the edge off cravings and I lost about 13 kg. I actually preferred it over keto, which was harder to keep in real life. Small caveat, the early nausea was a bit annoying.
  • noah239 rated it 5/5 - Helped me cut cravings, but nausea was real: I ran semaglutide for about 4 months while I was trying to get my weight and glucose under better control, sitting long hours in the lab and eating random canteen food here in India. For me it knocked cravings hard, and I dropped about 16 kg. The one downside was mild nausea and a bit of dull appetite that made meals feel too small some days.
  • reads_lifter rated it 3/5 - Semaglutide trimmed cravings, not my whole game: I ran semaglutide for about 12 weeks while trying to keep my food intake sane around heavy squat and deadlift work, because cutting as a Midwest powerlifter in winter can get stupid fast and I wanted something that might take the edge off the constant snack chase. For me it did blunt cravings and made it easier to stop eating when I should, but the scale moved slower than I expected and my training still felt like training. I had some stomach weirdness early on, then it settled a bit. Overall I got a modest help, nothing dramatic, and I would call it useful but pretty flat.
  • tara_ironman rated it 4/5 - Finally quiet food noise for my workdays: What stood out most for me was the food noise getting much quieter. I am in India, long software days, sitting in front of laptop and also trying to keep my training steady, so constant snacking was becoming annoying. In about 3 weeks on semaglutide, I was feeling full faster and thinking about food much less, which made my routine easier without me forcing it. I did lose a little weight, but that was not the main thing for me. Small caveat, the first few days my stomach felt a bit off, so I went slow. This is just my own experience, kindly talk to a doctor for medical use.
  • luis677 rated it 5/5 - semaglutide after my firehouse years hit hard: i tried semaglutide because after retiring from fire service and still coaching clients here in mexico, my weight was creeping up and my knees felt it. first 2 weeks i just noticed less food noise, like the brain was calmer around meals. around week 4 i was getting full fast, almost annoying at first. by week 6 my portions were tiny and by week 10 i was down about 9 kg. for me it was the first thing that made cutting feel controlled, not a fight.
  • restless_vo2max rated it 3/5 - Skeptical at first, dropped 10 lbs anyway: I went into semaglutide pretty skeptical, honestly. I’m a sales rep on the East Coast, on my feet a lot but still too snacky after long days and training. Over about 10 weeks I lost 10 lbs. I did feel less hungry, but it was more muted than dramatic for me.
