Noticed lipid shifts on low‑dose oxandrolone – my bloodwork log

I ran a 6‑week low‑dose oxandrolone cycle (10 mg split twice daily) to help with a cutting phase while keeping my strength up. I got a full lipid panel before starting and again at week 6. 3 mmol/L.

Triglycerides stayed roughly the same. I felt fine otherwise – no liver discomfort, no mood swings – but seeing the HDL drop made me pause. I added 2 g of EPA/DHA daily and cut back on saturated fats for the next four weeks, then retested.

9 mmol/L. For me the lipid effect was noticeable but manageable with diet tweaks and fish oil. If you’re considering oxandrolone, I’d suggest baseline lipids and a follow‑up after 4‑6 weeks, especially if you have any family history of cardiovascular issues. Always talk to a clinician before starting any hormone‑based compound.
