Rapamycin Pulse for a Cold Season – How I Felt the First 4 Weeks

Vaks, I started a low dose rapamycin protocol last fall, 3 mg once a week as the clinics recommend. I’m not looking for a miracle, just a smoother skin, less fatigue, and maybe a boost in immune tone. After the first week I had a mild mouth sore and my sleep felt a bit off.
By week two, the sore eased and I noticed my skin looked less puffy after mornings, maybe the anti‑inflammatory effect. Week three I felt an uptick in energy during my runs; my usual 5‑mile was smoother than the week before. The slow rise in lipids on my lab came up in the doctor’s note, nothing alarming but a reminder to keep an eye on cholesterol.
I haven’t seen any big changes in my biomarker panel yet, but I’m keeping up with the weekly dose and counselors. If anyone else’s been on the same schedule, what’s your experience with the first month? Do you see the skin benefit or just the sleep tweaks? (Thanks for the chat, y’all.)
