CagriSema trial: appetite control, mild nausea and energy boost after 4 weeks

I started CagriSema (cagrilintide + semaglutide) 4 weeks ago, 2.4 mg once a week. The appetite suppression was noticeable from the first dose – I hakuna for the first three meals and still felt full. Weight dropped 2 Factors in the first week, then 1.5 kg in the next. HRV and sleep, recorded on my phone, stayed stable, so I didn’t see any interference with recovery.

On day 2 after the first injection I had a mild nausea bout that lasted a few hours – it was the only side‑effect I’ve noticed so far and it faded after week 3, no vomiting or severe discomfort. I added a L‑Carnitine injection (1000 mg, 2 × per week) to help with the extra energy I felt draining in the evenings. No injection‑site pain, only a tiny redness that resolved quickly.

I’ll keep the regimen for another 8 weeks and track weight, appetite and HRV to see if the plateau hits or the nausea stays minimal.
