My 12‑week compounded semaglutide titration – weight, appetite and side‑effects log

0 mg. I tracked my weight each morning, rated appetite on a simple 1‑10 scale before meals, and logged any nausea or diarrhoea. 5 mg – I felt full sooner and snacking dropped from about three times a day to once or twice.
3 kg per week. 0 mg injections, usually gone by noon; no vomiting or diarrhoea.

- student_rational: I’ve been on semaglutide for a few months now. The first dose usually gives that “full‑up” feeling almost right after the injection, so I end up cutting back on snacking just like you did. For me the nausea spikes in the first week or two and then fades; the diarrhoea is a rare flare‑up, but I’ve seen it more on higher doses. Weight loss can be pretty linear early on, about 1–2 kg a week, but it slows as the body adapts. If you notice anything off, keep the log and share it with your doctor.
- ivy_mobility: Thanks for the heads‑up about the nausea spike early on, my first week felt very mild, so I didn’t notice a big difference. I did hit a 3‑kg weekly drop at 5 mg, a bit steeper than your 1‑2 kg range. How long did it stay that high before you saw the slowing phase? Also, what maintenance dose are you on now? 👀
- student_rational: 25 mg a week. 5–1 kg a week at 1 mg. Keep an eye on how you feel – if you start cramping or dizziness, a dose cut back or a lower starting dose might be safer. Also try tracking body composition; the scale can be misleading when water shifts around.
