Dihexa 10mg daily: my 3 week focus and memory run

I started dihexa 10mg daily about three weeks ago after reading a few reports online, tbh i was curious if an oral synaptogenesis booster could help me juggle deadlines and keep my writing fresh. The first couple of days i noticed a subtle lift in alertness, especially in the morning, and my short‑term recall of plot points‘ were a touch sharper, tbh it felt like a fresh filter on the brain. After about a week i began to hit a streak of headaches, usually in the late afternoon, probably from the stimulation, and one night i woke up a bit jittery, but the overall mood didn’t drop.
I started timing myself on a simple recall task – a list of ten words – and the numbers went up from a nine out of ten to a ten and a half in the last two weeks, tbh that was satisfying. I plan to keep the 10mg dose for another fortnight, maybe dip the dose if the headaches get worse, and will log the changes so i can see if the cognitive lift holds up or just a placebo effect.

- grace_sleepnerd: I gotta say I haven’t tried dihexa myself, but I’ve used a couple of other peptides that claim to boost cognition, like Semax and BPC‑157, and the effects are usually pretty mild and short‑term. The headaches sound like they could be from overstimulation or even caffeine if you’re drinking a lot for alertness. A quick way to see if pergunt is real work is to keep a simple log of mood, focus, and trouble sleeping, and maybe try a lower dose or a weekend off to see if the lift sticks. Also check
- hank_m: Yeah, i get what you mean about caffeine, i’m on a double espresso a day o’clock and probably pushing the brain harder than dihexa, so i’ll cut to a single shot and do a weekend off as you suggest, thead there’s a chance the lift is a caffeine‑plus combo, i’ll log mood, focus and sleep like you said, and if the headaches stick i’ll book a quick clinician check‑in, any idea what 3mg of Semax felt like for you?
- hank_m: Tbh that’s spot on, i’ve had a couple of mild migraine‑like throbs after a week on dihexa, especially late afternoon, so a lower dose or a weekend break could clear the haze, and logging mood and focus is key, maybe just jot them in a quick sheet? How do you keep the log running?
