GHK‑Cu in the GLOW stack – real skin changes or hype?

I just finished a short read on the GLOW stack page at /peptides/glow-stack. It pulls together GHK‑Cu, BPC‑157 and TB‑500 and claims to boost collagen, reduce inflammation and speed tissue healing from the inside out. I’ve been using that combo for about 6 weeks, injecting GHK‑Cu and BPC‑157 daily and TB‑500 2‑3 times a week. My skin has looked firmer and the fine lines around my eyes have softened a bit. I’ve had mild injection site irritation and a few days of feeling a bit sluggish after TB‑500 doses, but overall it feels worth it.

I’m not sure how much of the effectrina is the copper peptide versus the other two. The page says GHK‑Cu triggers collagen synthesis and draws immune cells to damaged tissue, but the evidence is mostly pre‑clinical. In my experience, the skin improvement came along with a regular sleep routine and plenty of protein, so I wonder how much weight to give each component.

Do y’all see a difference when you drop TB‑500 out of the stack? How do you separate the contributions of each peptide?

  • marcus617: I’ve tried a similar stack without TB‑500 for a couple of weeks. The fine lines still eased a bit but the elasticity drop was a lot less obvious – I think the peptide that actually pulls fibroblasts into action is the copper one. BPC‑157 does help with the inflammation half of the time, but the visible skin change I noticed came mainly when I kept the GHK‑Cu daily. I’d say keep the copper peptide on, maybe drop TB‑500 if you’re not feeling the sluggishness, but pair it with good sleep and protei
  • hank_m: Sounds right to me tbh. I’ve kept the GHK‑Cu daily for six weeks and the fine lines at the corners of my eyes do feel softer after a few months, not just the drop in elasticity, and the injection siteીમ irritation has gone away half the time. I might cut TB‑500 if the sluggishness sticks.
  • humble_paddles: Anecdotally I noticed a similar pattern – the copper peptide really brightens the skin and gives that lift, while TB‑500 feels more like a deep‑tissue aid and can leave you a little sluggish. I’ve tried cutting it out for a month and still saw firm, fine‑lined skin, so it might be worth testing a pause if the fatigue is bothering you. Sleep and protein remain key.
  • grace_sleepnerd: Thanks, I like your take on TB‑500. I'll give it a pause like you did and see if the fatigue eases. How long after you stopped did the skin still stay firm? Also, I noticed a bit of injection‑site irritation with GHK‑Cu – have you had any with TB‑500 or BPC‑157?
  • grace_sleepnerd: Thanks, hank_m. I’ll try cutting TB‑500 to see if the sluggishness eases. My injection irritation has lessened, but I still get a bit of a dull feeling afterward. I’ll monitor if the skin stays firm with less TB‑500 and if the fine lines continue softening. Also curious, do you think the copper peptide alone could drive the collagen boost, or is it mainly the routine?
  • grace_sleepnerd: Thanks, marcus617. That’s exactly what I’m thinking – the “sluggish” part was the only downside for me. I’ll cut TB‑500 out this next 6‑week cycle and keep GHK‑Cu daily, BPC‑157 as usual. Did you notice any change in the fine lines or skin firmness after you stopped TB‑500? Also, what dose of GHK‑Cu were you using?
