Should I keep taking 4g omega‑3 with my daily aspirin?

I’m 38, started 4 g of combined EPA + DHA a few months back after reading that it can cut triglycerides and help with heart rhythm. I’m also on low‑dose aspirin for my family history of heart disease. About a week in, I started getting a few bruises from a light tap on my arm that normally wouldn’t leave a mark. It made me think the fish oil might be messing with my platelet function, especially since the article I read mentioned bleeding time can go up with higher doses. I’ve only had one or two of these bruises and no major bleeding, but I’m not sure if that’s safe to keep going.
I’mOLUME stuck to the dosage that the label says, but does anyone have any experience or data on how high‑dose omega‑3 interacts with aspirin or other blood thinners? Should I get my blood work checked for clotting factors or just cut back to 2 g? I’d appreciate any real‑world insights. IMO, cautious is better than over‑confident.
