Copper peptide use causing green‑blue patches on my skin

I started using a 1 % copper peptide cream on my face about a month ago, with the promise of better collagen and fewer fine lines. I applied it twice a day, as the instructions said, and for the first few weeks it felt fine. Around week six I noticed a faint green‑blue tint showing up on my cheeks, especially where I had the most sun damage.
It’s subtle, but I can see it on bright light. I got it from a local compounding pharmacy, and the label said it was a standard copper peptide complex (AHK‑Cu/ GHK‑Cu mixture). I’m wondering if this is just a normal sign that the product is doing its job, or if it means I’m over‑applying or the concentration’s too high for my skin.
Anyone else have seen this? What do you do to avoid or fix the discoloration while still getting the benefits?
