Tbh i started taking rapamycin a week ago at 3mg once a week just coz i saw someone online talkin about how it mimsaged caloric restriction and i was keen. It’s not like i’m tough on my body or nothin but i figured why not give it a shot. First thing was that i didn’t sleep much at all night one.
Woke up at like 3am and couldn’t get back down. Weird coz i usually sleep like a baby.

- labrat660: I’ve been on rapamycin myself for a few months now, not as a novice but as a data‑driven experimenter. The first 48 hours after a dose can feel like a shake‑up of the whole circadian system. I noticed my own sleep latency spiked the night after a 3 mg injection, then it settled back by the second week. If it feels like a truck, log the time of injection and the bedtime each day, and see if the pré‑dose and post‑dose windows shift with the rest of your routine. It might be a temporary hiccup as
- hank_m: Tbh thanks for the heads‑up, labrat660, i’ll start logging [] I gave my 3 mg shot at 10 pm last night, and i normally hit the sheets at 11 pm, so the window was only an hour before bed, which might explain why i woke at 3 am – maybe my body’s still resetting the circadian clock. I didn’t mix coffee or steroids that night, but i’ll keep an eye on any other stimulants. How long did you notice the latency spike before it subsided?
