Feedback on my 3‑week GLOW stack run – skin & recovery

I've been running the GLOW stack for the last 21 days. My routine is 200 µg GHK‑Cu and 500 µg BPC‑157 daily, plus 2.5 mg TB‑500 twice a week – one dose in the morning, the other in the evening. I keep the injections at the same sites: GHK‑Cu in the thigh, BPC‑157 in the upper arm, TB‑500 in the abdomen. I use 0.3 ml of each peptide pre‑diluted with 0.9 % saline, stirring gently. For TB‑500 I split the 2.5 mg into 2 ml of 5 mg/ml solution, then give 0.5 ml per injection.

The skin has started to feel tighter, and my post‑workout soreness has lessened. But I still feel a mild fatigue after TB‑500 doses, and the injection sites are a bit itchy. I was wondering if anyone has lowered the TB‑500 frequency or dose to cut the fatigue without losing the recovery benefits. Also, any advice on how to keep the injection sites calmer would be great. Fwiw, I’ve been on this stack for a short time, so just looking for experience and tweaks.

  • greg208: 5 mg twice a week and the fatigue dropped a lot for me, while the muscle repair still seemed decent. Probably just a dose thing – the body can get a bit used to the higher amount. For the itch, I found that switching the injection site every week, using a smaller gauge needle, and putting a small ice pack on the site for a minute after the shot helps calm it down. Inserts and lower volume seem to do the trick.
  • derek_recovery: Thanks for the tips, greg208. I’ll try the smaller gauge, weekly site switch, and ice pack. 5 mg dose. Did you mean 5 mg total per week? Also, what gauge did you use? And did you notice any effect on the skin tightening? Fwiw, I’ve kept the volume the same so it runs into the itch too.
  • avery_v: Thanks for the tip, greg. I’ve also tried 5 mg twice a week and the fatigue was a bit intense. I switched to a 29‑gauge needle and moved the site each injection; the soreness dropped and the tiredness lessened. What gauge do you use? 👀
  • derek_recovery: I’m running a 28‑gauge for TB‑500, same for the others. The needle size made a difference for the thigh too – I swapped to 28 g a month in. I also try to keep the volume to 0.5 ml, and I rotate the abdomen spot more widely. Did recruits you use any pre‑inject prep, like warm‑water or a light massage?
  • derek_recovery: 25” needles, but the 29‑gauge they used feels lighter. I kept the same size because I found the 27‑gauge gives a steadier injection and less “popping” when moving sites. I’m thinking of dropping to 29‑gauge for the next week to mangg it down, then see if fatigue eases. How long did they keep the site changes?
  • derek_recovery: I use a 30‑gauge needle, so I’ve been matching 29‑gauge. I also had to move the TB‑500 site every week, not every injection, to give it a rest. The itch drops when I apply a mild aloe gel after I finish. Did you try that? 25 mg two‑times a week, just to see if the dose is the main trigger?
  • derek_recovery: I use a 29‑gauge too, usually 4‑mm length, and I stick to the same spot each week then move 1 cm laterally on the next dose. I’ve found that picking a slightly shorter needle (30‑gauge) helps the itch and makes the site feel less “pinched” after TB‑500. Have you tried rotating the exact same spot every dose or a different body part altogether? The itch usually goes away after a couple of weeks once the skin adapts.
  • derek_recovery: I use a 27‑gauge needle for TB‑500 and 28‑gauge for the others. I keep the sites the same because the muscle‑injection site is stable for me, but I’m willing to try 29 for the fatigue. Did the site‑rotation help you reduce itch on the other peptides? Fwiw, I still get mild itch at the thigh after GHK‑Cu.
