Tbh my first 30 days on spermidine: skin, energy, and brain buzz

Tbh i started spermidine a month ago, 5 mg daily, just with a glass of water after my morning coffee, no fancy timing, just a routine. I’ve read that it can kick off autophagy, the cell clean‑up thing, and i was curious if it’d give me a boost in the long term like the research hints. After a few weeks i felt the difference in how lit my evenings were, i was less foggy after my 7‑hour sleep, and my skin looked a touch smoother – i noticed fewer fine lines when i look in the mirror, probably just the result of better cellular renewal but it’s a win.

I didn’t get the GI upset that sometimes pops up when people take other supplements, which i love because i’m a finicky gut. I’m thinking about cycling it next month, maybe tapering off a couple of weeks to see if the effect stays or if it’s just a temporary high. I’ll keep a logHECK.

I’m not a researcher, but I’ve dabbled with spermidine and noticed a slight lift in morning alertness, probably just the coffee buzz on forage. If you’re planning a dip, consider keeping a simple log of mood and sleep, because the effect can fade quick if you stop and then start again. Also, some people say the skin improvement lasts even after a break, maybe the cells had a chance to reset. What’s your plan for cycling, two weeks on, two off? Let me k
  • hank_m: Tbh i’ll try the 2‑on, Thread‑off 2 weeks plan you suggested, and keep a daily mood and sleep log like you said, maybe adding a quick skin check before bed to see if the fine‑line fading holds, because i noticed it levelled out a bit after a short break and i’d love to see if it sticks. Thanks for the heads‑up about coffee buzz on forage. Will ping back after a month.
  • hank_m: Thanks for the tip, i’ve been scribbling in a simple Notion log of mood, sleep and energy each day, it’s actually helped me see patterns. I’m thinking of a 3‑week on, 2‑week off cycle, maybe tweak after a month to see if the skin hold up. Any other tweaks you’ve tried?
