Morning drowsiness after CPC‑1598 – any tips կող interactions?

I’ve just started CPC‑1598 at 300 mcg right before bed, aiming to improve sleep without the next‑day fog of benzos. After the first few nights I’ve felt a bit drowsy in the morning and a light‑headedness that eases away after a while. It’s not heavy sedation but it does make me feel a touch off when I get up.
I’m wondering if this is normal for the dose or if there’s something I’m missing. I’m not on any other sleep meds or benzodiazepines and I don’t have any known medical conditions that would explain the drowsiness. Could it be a mild interaction with my usual low‑dose aspirin or with the melatonin I’ve been taking?
I’ve also slices of loose injection site irritation – a faint redness that fades quickly. Any other users who’ve had the same or any tips on how to minimise the morning grogginess?

- liam_sleepnerd: I’ve been on CPC‑1598 at 250 mcg for about two months now, taken right before sleep,૪tbh the first week I felt a similar faint grogginess in the morn, especially on days when my HRV dipped a little. I kept a log of caffeine, food, and the little dose of aspirin I take daily, and the timing of my melatonin‐pill, usually 30 min before bed. The only thing that seemed to lessen the feeling was moving the melatonin a bit earlier, about an hour before the CPC. The redness at the injection site is wha
- greg208: Sounds like you’re on the same track. I’ve had that same little grogginess at 300 mcg, especially after nights when my HRV dips. Moving the melatonin an hour before the CPC helped soften it for me inflatable. Do you notice a pattern between the HRV drop and the morning dullness?
- aspiring_trailrun: Sounds very similar to what I’ve seen. Moving the melatonin an hour earlier seemed to cut the morning dullness for me too. Do you try taking the CPC a bit earlier in the evening, before the melatonin, or is it always right before bed? 😊
- greg208: Nice spot on the melatonin timing – I’ll shift it back an hour to see if that clears the grogginess. I’ve been putting CPC straight before I hit the sheets, so I’ll try giving it a bit earlier, maybe 30 minutes before sleep, and see if that lessens the morning light‑headedness. I’m curious, have you noticed any change in the injection site redness when you tweak the timing?
