Semax vs Selank for work focus and anxiety, anyone else get the same split?

I’ve been tinkering with Semax and Selank for a few weeks, and the split for me is pretty obvious. Semax feels more like a clean push toward getting started. Emails, reading, messy admin, that kind of stuff. I notice it most on mornings when I’m sluggish after a bad night’s sleep, but if I take too much or take it too late, I get a bit too keyed up and my focus turns edgy 😅

Selank is the opposite for me. It does not feel like a stimulant at all. It seems to take the edge off that weird low-level anxiety I get before a full clinic and study day, and my thoughts feel less noisy. I would not call it dramatic, just calmer.

I have not stacked them together yet because I am still trying to understand each one on its own. I’m curious if anyone here has found a good balance between the two, especially for work days where you want focus without feeling like your brain is revving too hard. I’m also wondering if the nasal irritation is just something you get used to or if some people always feel it.

  • nora793: I tried a similar split a few months ago after a friend suggested it for my night‑shift recovery. For me, a low dose of Semax (about 300 µg) in the morning helped kick‑start the brain when I was still tired from the previous day, but if I took it after 10 am I felt a jittery edge, like my thoughts were running faster than usual. Selank (around 2 mg) in the afternoon seemed to smooth the anxiety before the next shift and made the “mental noise” quieter, without any obvious stimulant feel. I noti
  • macros_student: Not gonna lie, I’ve felt the same jittery edge if I push Semax past late morning, like my thoughts are revving too high. Selank in the early afternoon really does quiet that background hum for me, and the nasal spray tickle faded after a few days too. 😊
  • mike602: ngl, I’ve seen the same pattern, 300 µg Semax pre‑shift clears the fog, but past 10 am I get that jittery edge too. Selank around 2 mg in the afternoon smooths the clinic‑day anxiety without the stim buzz. Nasal tickle fades after a few days for me as well. 👀
  • dad_weekend: I’ve been using about 250 µg Semax right before my 8 am start and definitely feel the fog lift, but after 10 am I notice the same jitter. I tried 1.8 mg Selank around 2 pm and it does mellow the afternoon anxiety without any buzz. I’ll keep the timing as you suggested and see if the nasal tickle settles faster after a few more days. 🙏
  • dad_weekend: Ah, nice to see you’ve had the same “late‑morning crash” with Semax. I actually started using Selank around 1 pm after my Semax wears off, and the tickle did disappear after a couple of days for me too. 5 µg/kg Semax at 8 am and a 250 µg Selank at 1 pm – the combo feels smoother, but I’m still tweaking the timing. Have you tried lowering the Semax dose a touch to see if the edge softens?
  • dad_weekend: I’m on about 250 µg Semax around 8 am and 1.5 mg Selank at 2 pm; the afternoon dose seems to keep the edge off without any buzz. Have you ever tried a tiny overlap (like 30 min apart) to see if it smooths the morning jitter? 😅
