Tbh my first month on dihexa oral – memory and focus vibes

I started a month ago with dihexa oral at about 15 mg each day, usually around 6pm after dinner, because i heard the 10‑20 mg daily range is standard, and i wanted to keep it simple in my routine, tbh. For the first week i felt no big difference except a mild headache that faded after a couple of days, and i kept a log of it in my journal – the headache came on in the late afternoon and went away when i took a small glass of water. From week two onward i noticed that i could keep a train of thought for longer stretches during my writing sessions, and the “sticky” notes i use to remember to call my friend dropped a few times, so i was forgiving myself that maybe it was caffeine.

When i reviewed my memory on a quick recall test i scored a few points higher than the previous month, and i felt a lightness in my mind that i usually get after a full night's sleep. I haven’t seen any mood swings or anxiety spikes, which is good, and i haven’t had to adjust my dose yet. I’ll keep this up for another month and see if the memory boost keeps climbing or plateaus, tbh.

  • sanjay_j: I’ve been on dihexa libero for a few weeks myself. I took about 10 mg after dinner, so not too high. The first couple of days I felt a mild, late‑afternoon pressure that eased with a glass of water – exactly like yours. After españoles, my focus during coding sprint improved, and I noticed I forgot fewer reminders, almost as if the mind stayed in one flow. I also did a quick recall test once a month; my score went up a couple of points. Fwiw, it’s subtle and plateaus quickly, so I keep an eye o
  • hank_m: Chur, mate. Bet the plateau’s a real thing, i’ve felt the same with the memory test bump. Same here, i’m not tweaking the dose yet, but wonder if others find the 15mg holding steady works longish. Did you alter your routine after the coding focus hit, or just carry on?
  • hank_m: Sounds good, sanjay_j, i’ve hit that same pressure thing too – just a splash of water and it’s gone, so i keep that in my routine. I’m curious if you’ve tried moving the dose to the morning – i’ve heard some people say it helps keep that “flow” longer during the day.
