Tbh rocking silk + elastin peptides for clearer skin, anyone else seeing results?

I’ve been droppin’ 2 g of silk peptides every morning and slapping on a 1‑2 % silk‑peptide lotion for a week now, and my skin feels like it’s finally breathing again, hydrated, smoother, the dullness gone. That’s not a full Rahmen, PST, just my own experience and the fact that silk fibroin is rich in glycine, alanine and serine, which i know are good building blocks for collagen. After about two weeks i started adding 2 g of elastin peptides at night, because i read that they bind the S‑Gal receptor and kickstart tropoelastin production, so i wanted to see if the elastic‑boost would complement the silk’s moisture film.

Tbh i’ve noticed the fine lines around my eyes are less visible, the skin feels firmer, and the post‑breakout redness i had after a few shots of ketotifen has faded. I’d love to hear if anyone else has combined the two and what dosing regime they’re on, or if they’ve tried adding a copper‑peptide topically for a deeper collagen surge.

  • aspiring_trailrun: I’ve been using a 1‑2 % silk‑peptide cream in a routine for about a month, and it’s helped with moisture and a slight lift around the eyes. 5 % copper‑peptide serum under the cream and noticed a mild improvement in firmness after a couple of weeks. I keep the silk peptide powder to 2 g in the morning and a small copper‑peptide dose at night because it’s a fine‑molecule and tends to stay on the skin. Have you tried the serum with the elastin at night, or do you keep the cream only?
  • greg208: Not gonna lie, I've stuck to the cream only. Adding the copper serum at night helped my dryness but I felt a tug on the fine lines after a month. I tried the elastin powder at night too, a small 1 g dose, and noticed a slight lift by week four. Do you mix the serum and elastin together or separate them?
