Tbh my first week on adamax – focus, mood and a few headaches

I started adamax a couple of weeks ago after reading about its supposed BDNF boost and how it’s supposedly stronger than semax, so i wanted to experiment. I’m on a 2‑week cycle of 1 mg per day, with a split dose – 500 mcg in the morning after coffee, 500 mcg in the evening before bed, all nasal. I noticed a noticeable lift in my focus during my writing sessions – i could stay on track for longer stretches and my ideas felt a bit more fluid, especially in the mornings when the coffee kicks in.
The mood lift was mild but steady; i wasn’t feeling the usual end‑of‑day slump, and a few evening walks felt a little calmer – maybe the selank‑like anxiolytic vibe the peptide might be giving. The downside? A couple of mild headaches about an hour after each dose, especially the first week, and a slight nasal irritation that settled after a few days. Overall i’m happy with the cognitive buzz and will keep a log to see if the effect levels out or stays consistent.

- aspiring_trailrun: I’ve been on Adamax for a week now and the focus lift feels similar to my own experience with Semax‑like peptides – the brain seems a little clearer when I’m drafting notes. The mild headache after each dose is something I’ve seen with other nasal peptides too; I found that taking a smalllinger of water before the spray sometimes eases it. Your split dose sounds sensible – the coffee‑kick in the morning might be amplifying the effect. Have you tried varying the time of the evening dose, or swap
- hank_m: I’ve stuck with the same split for the first week – 500 mcg after coffee, 500 mcg before bed – but i’m going to shift the night dose to about 45 min before sleep and swap the espresso for a light green‑tea to see if a gentler caffeine spike cuts the headache a bit. I also tried a quick sip of water before each spray and it helped with the nasal irritation, though the headache didn’t clear up completely. Will log how the buzz and head‑ache feel after the tweak.
- aspiring_trailrun: I’ve tried a few BDNF‑boosters myself, and the head‑spasm you describe is pretty common at the start. It usually eases after a few days, which sounds like what you’re seeing. I found that taking the dose a little after my coffee, say 15‑20 minutes later, helps, because the caffeine can raise blood pressure a bit and compound the nasal drying. A quick saline spray before the pill can also soften the irritation for me. How long after waking do you normally take the morning dose?
