Confused about reconstitution math for beginners?

Posted by sarah_c in Beginner Questions - 1 points, 0 comments.

I am finally getting ready to start my first cycle and I am honestly a bit nervous about the math part? I have a biology degree so I understand the concepts, but actually doing the reconstitution for the first time feels different. I keep seeing different ways to calculate the units on a syringe and it is making me second guess everything.

Fwiw, I have been reading up on some of the basic protocols and I want to make sure I do not make a silly mistake with the bacteriostatic water. Does anyone have a simple way to visualize the volume versus the dosage? I just want to be safe and not overdo it on my first go.

Also, is it normal to feel a bit jittery about the actual injection part? I have seen plenty of videos, but the first time is always the hardest, eh? If anyone has a trick for staying calm or a specific way they organize their supplies to avoid mistakes, I would love to hear it. I am just trying to be as precise as possible before I give it a go.
