Seeking advice on BPC-157 oral dosing for hamstring tendon recovery after ACL

Posted by aspiring_trailrun in Healing & Recovery - 1 points, 1 comments.

After my ACL reconstruction last year, I struggled with slow hamstring rehab. I tried the oral BPC‑157 (500 mcg twice daily) for four weeks, taking one dose before my light run at 7 am and the second after my strength session at 8 pm. For me it seemed to cut down the dull ache that lingered after training and the stiffness that flared mid‑week.

I did notice mild nausea the first few days, but that settled quickly. My range of motion improved and I felt safer going into the cutting drills during the second month of rehab. I’m curious if anyone else has used oral BPC‑157 for tendon issues, what dose they found most effective, and whether they’d recommend a longer course or additional supportive peptides.

Any practical tips on timing with workouts would be appreciated. Cheers!

I found the routine most useful when the first dose came about an hour before a light jog or mobility session, and the second dose about 30‑60 minutes after a heavier strength or plyometric bout – that gives the peptide a bite on the inflamed tissue when it’s most primed. I ద kept a log: pain scores and
