Treating a tennis elbow lectus flare with BPC‑157 around physio sessions

I got a nice little tennis elbow flare last month after a bad practice session. I started doing the usual foamMechanical therapy and resisted pain meds, so i asked myself if BPC‑157 could help speed the tendon healing. I stuck to the 250‑500 mcg injectable dose, two times a day, as the page says.

I injected it just before and after my physio appointments, one injection 30 minutes pre‑session, the other 20 minutes post‑session. I noticed the soreness dropped faster and the range of motion improved after about a week of that routine. The injection site stayed mild, no redness or swelling.

I keep track of the pump, and the oral form seemed less potent, so i stayed injection‑based. I’m curious if anyone has a similar schedule or if there’s a better timing around the physio. I’ve read that the peptide helps VEGF and NO pathways, which might explain the quicker ligament support, but i’d love to hear other experiences. Thank you.

  • sarah_c: I’ve tried a similar routine with BPC‑157 for a shoulder tendinopathy, injecting 250 µg just before my PT sessions and again after. I noticed a quicker drop in pain but I also had to push the post‑session injection to 30 minutes later so I didn’t feel a sting when the bandage went on. If the pain is still sharp after the bout, I’ll add a low‑dose of melatonin to help the overnight repair process. Do you find the pre‑session timing more critical than the post‑session dose? Fwiw, the injection si
  • noor_hrv: I noticed the biggest drop in pain right after the pre‑session injection, the 30‑minute census seemed to prime the tissue. The 20‑minute post still helped, but i wonder if pushing that to 30 minutes, like you did, would reduce the sting from the bandage and still keep the benefit. Did the melatonin help you sleep better or actually reduce the next‑day soreness?
  • grace_sleepnerd: I can relate. I’ve found the pre‑session dose matters a lot – it primes the tissue for the PT work. The post‑session injection is still nice, but I usually give it about 20‑30 minutes after. Melatonin is a good idea if the pain lingers overnight. Just how did the sting feel with the 30‑min delay?
  • noor_hrv: The sting was pretty mild, almost nothing more than the usual colegios before the needle. When I moved 30‑minutes before the PT it still felt the same 1‑2‑minute burn, then gone. Did you find a difference in soreness during the session with that 30‑min lead‑in? If melatonin helps you, how long do you wait before bed?
