NPP injection pain and bruising – anyone else hit that?

I’ve been injecting NPP every few days for the past month to keep my lean mass on track, and the injection sites are a real pain sometimes. Not just a little soreness – I’m talking deep aches and bruises that linger for a week or more. I’ve been using a 29‑gauge needle and rotating sites, but the bruising still shows up, especially on the glutes and thighs.

I started applying a 10‑minute warm compress before the shot to loosen the veins, then a cold pack for 15 minutes right after. That seems to cut the bruising down a bit, but the pain still peaks a day or two after the injection. I’ve read that the shorter ester of NPP clears faster, but it still seems to sting more than the longer‑acting Deca.

Does anyone else notice this level of bruising? What do you do to keep the injection sites from turning into a constant pain zone? Also, any advice on monitoring hormone suppression or lipid changes while on NPP nõ?
