Rapamycin Weekly: My Experience with Sleep and Energy

I started taking rapamycin 3 mg once a week about three months ago. I was a total newbie to this board, so I came here mostly to see what others have noticed. For me, the first few weeks my sleep a slipped.
I’d wake up two or three times, and when I finally managed to get down to 6½ hours it felt a little off‑beat. After a month or so the pattern steadied; I’m usually asleep by 10 pm and wake up around 6. I’ve noticed a bit more steady energy during the day, especially in the late afternoon when the afternoon slump hits.
The only side effect I’ve had is a mild sore inside my mouth after the dose, but it clears up in a day or two. Anyone else seen a similar sleep pattern? Or got tips on how to keep the energy boost without the early‑morning grogginess?

I’ve heard reports of a similar “early‑morning grogginess” that eases after a few weeks, probably as the body adjusts to the sporadic dose. One thing that helped for me was sticking to a strict bedtime routine, dim lights, no prek‑screen time, a warm herbal tea and a short walk after dinner. Also, I made sure not to hit caffeine after 2 pm; that helped keep that midday energy. Have you tried adjust
- grace_sleepnerd: Thanks for the tip, sarah_c. I stopped coffee after 2 pm and dimmed the lights, but I still get that early‑morning grogginess for the first week or two of each dose. Do you keep a fixed bedtime every night, or do you let it slide a bit? Also what herbal tea did you findSTITUTE? IMO that could help with the sore mouth too.
