Scalp irritation after daily RU‑58841 – how to soothe it?

I started using RU‑58841 about three weeks ago, 80 mg mixed in 1 mL ethanol‑propylene glycol solution, applied each night to the crown. The first week I saw a tiny amount of flaking, which I thought was normal. By day 10 the area became red, itchy and a bit sore, like a mild contact dermatitis. I tried washing the scalp with a gentle sulfate‑free shampoo before each application, but the irritation persisted.
I switched the vehicle to a simple aqueous propylene glycol base (no alcohol) and reduced the dose to 50 mg. The redness decreased after a couple of days, but the itching stayed for a while. I also started using a light moisturizer with ceramides after the RU‑58841 dries, and it seems to help the barrier.
Has anyone else found a particular carrier or post‑application routine that calms the skin? Are there any safe topical anti‑inflammatories (like a low‑dose hydrocortisone cream) that won’t interfere with the anti‑androgen effect? Ngl, I’m keen to keep using it but not at the cost of constant irritation. Thanks.
