Trying low‑dose rapamycin with nightly argireline serum – my 6‑week log

I’ve been dabbling with a “quiet anti‑age” combo for a bit over a month now, tbh, mostly because the blue zones thread got me thinking about simple things i can actually stick to, and rapamycin kept popping up in the chats. I started a 4 mg dose once a week on a Thursday night, just before bed, and paired it with a 5 % argireline serum applied twice daily – morning after shower and again before sleep. The serum feels a bit tingly at first but nothing harsh, and the rapamycin doesn’t give me any gut upset or mouth sores, which i was worried about after reading the side‑effect list.
After two weeks i noticed a subtle change in my skin texture – the fine lines around my eyes seemed a touch less deep when i squint, and the usual “sleep‑line” on my forehead was less pronounced. I also felt a small boost in morning energy, maybe just because i was sleeping a bit deeper; i’ve been tracking my sleep with a cheap ring and it shows a couple more minutes of REM on average. I haven’t done any bloodwork yet so i’m not sure about lipid changes or any immune markers, but i plan to get a full panel after the next cycle.
Anyone else run rapamycin weekly with a topical peptide? Curious if you saw similar skin benefits or any tweaks you’d make to the timing or dose.
