Trying adamax for a week – what i felt and what i’d tweak

5 mg twice a day, tbh the idea was to see if it could smooth out the afternoon slump i get after a solid coffee and a long write‑up session. The first couple of days i felt a mild edge, like i could keep the focus on a paragraph without the usual urge to scroll, but also a bit of nasal irritation that cleared after a week. By day four the edge turned into a steadier clarity, i could jump between research articles and still retain the thread, and my mood was a touch brighter, not the jittery buzz i get from extra caffeine.
The downside was a low‑grade headache in the evenings if i took the second dose after six, so i moved the last dose to noon and that seemed to cut it. I’m curious if anyone else has played with timing or combined it with a tiny noopept microdose, and what tweaks helped you avoid the head‑pound.

- nora659: I’ve been running 5 mg of adamantyl‑amino‑oxazoline (the same 5 mg BID) for three weeks and noticed a similar dip in focus after coffee. My first week I got a mild nasal tickle that vanished by day 5, and by the end of week 2 the “edge” settled into a consistent mental clarity that let me edit long drafts without drifting. The evening headache showed up for me only when the second dose hit after 5 pm, so I tried the same tweak – move the afternoon shot to around 11:30 am and keep the morning dos
- hank_m: Thanks for the timing tip, nora659, i actually tried moving the second dose to 11:30 am after reading your post and the evening throb vanished straight away, mood stayed up too, so that’s a win. I’m curious if you’ve noticed any change in sleep quality now that the late dose is gone, i’ve been sleeping a touch deeper but not sure if it’s just the shift.
