Adding low‑dose rapamycin to a daily taurine routine – any red flags?

Been running taurine for a few months now after reading about the 2023 lifespan study. I take 2 g split between breakfast and dinner, mostly to keep my energy steady and my joints feeling less creaky. Not gonna lie, I noticed my morning runs feel a bit easier and my sleep is a touch deeper, though could just be the routine.

A friend suggested tossing in a low‑dose rapamycin pulse – 4 mg once a week – to see if I can boost the autophagy signal. I started last week, taking it on a Thursday evening after my usual 2 g taurine dose. So far I’ve had mild stomach rumble the night after the rapamycin, but no mouth sores or anything major.

My blood pressure stayed normal and my skin looks a tad less dry. I’m keeping an eye on my cholesterol and will do a basic blood panel in a month. Anyone on this combo noticed anything I should watch for, especially around wound healing or lipid changes?
