Scalp irritation after starting RU‑58841 – how to calm it down?

Been using RU‑58841 for about three weeks now – 75 mg in 1 mL ethanol‑propylene glycol mix, applied each night after shower. First week was fine, but around day 8 I noticed a dry, flaky patch on the back of my crown that got itchy and a bit red. Not a full blown dermatitis, just an irritation that made me scratch a lot. I tried washing the area with a mild sulfate‑free shampoo and letting the skin dry before the next application, which seemed to help a bit but the dryness persisted.
I read that the vehicle can be a culprit, so I switched to a simple propylene glycol base without ethanol for the last week. The redness has subsided, but the skin still feels tight. I’m wondering if anyone has had similar issues and whether adding a light non‑comedogenic moisturizer after the daily dose is okay, or if I should reduce the concentration to 50 mg. Also, any thoughts on using a short course of a mild topical steroid to break the irritation without affecting the anti‑androgen action?
