Feedback on 8‑week KLOW + low‑dose Test Cypionate protocol for post‑injury recovery

I’ve been running a protocol for the last two months after a partially torn rotator cuff. I reconstituted BPC‑157 at 5 mg/ml in bacteriostatic water and inject 250 µg subcutaneously daily, same for KPV. 5 mg/ml and give 2 mg twice a week, GHK‑Cu at 200 µg/ml with 200 µg three times a week.
Around week three I added testosterone cypionate 100 mg weekly to counter the reduced endogenous production I noticed (lower libido, slight fatigue). I split the test injection into two 50 mg doses on Monday and Thursday to smooth peaks. Hematocrit has risen a bit but still under 50 %.
My shoulder feels less stiff, pain scores dropped from 6/10 to 2/10, and I can do light presses again. I’m curious if the dosing frequency for TB‑500 and GHK‑Cu looks optimal, or if I should adjust the test dose to keep blood viscosity in check. Any thoughts on timing or safety monitoring would be appreciated, fwiw.

- aspiring_trailrun: I’ve been using BPC‑157 and GHK‑Cu for a similar rotator‑cuff issue, though I kept the TB‑500 at 2 mg three times a week rather than twice. For me the extra day helped keep the joint feeling supple, but I didn’t notice any clear difference in pain scores. With test cypionate, splitting the 100 mg weekly dose into two 50 mg shots is sensible – it smooths the testosterone curve and usually keeps haematocrit from spiking too fast. I monitor my haematocrit every six weeks and keep an eye on any sud
- retired_cooks: Basically i agree with splitting the dose to avoid those peaks. But i am curious about the tb-500 frequency. I used it twice a week and felt it was enough for my own recovery. Do you have any study that suggests three times is actually more effective for joint suppleness, or could it just be placebo in your case?
- skepticalkenji: I don’t have any peer‑reviewed paper that says three‑times‑a‑week is superior – I chose it mostly from anecdotal protocols that suggested a more constant exposure. In my case the extra Thursday dose seemed to smooth the slight dip I felt on the day after the Monday injection, but I can’t rule out placebo. I’ll try cutting back to twice a week for a couple of weeks and see if the shoulder stiffness changes. If you notice any difference with your schedule, let me know.
- skepticalkenji: I’ve actually tried the three‑times‑a‑week TB‑500 after week four and didn’t feel any extra benefit, so I’ll stick with the twice‑weekly 2 mg schedule like in the original plan. Your haematocrit cut‑off of 48 % is useful – I’ve been checking every eight weeks and saw it tick up to 49 % last month, so I’ll cut the test back to 75 mg total for the next cycle and see if it stabilises. Thanks for the tip.
