AOD‑9604 for fat loss – my 4‑week experience

Posted by formerdana in Weight Loss & Metabolic - 1 points, 2 comments.

I started injecting AOD‑9604 comprise around 300 mcg each morning, fasted, just under a year ago. I chose the morning dose because the 2‑3 hour half‑life lets me keep activity normal through the day. I monitor changes with my HRV app and weekly weigh‑ins – no software, just a spreadsheet.

After 4 weeks I’ve dropped about 2 kg of total body mass and my waist has shrunk by roughly 2 cm, while my leg strength hasn't dipped – a bit of the muscle‑sparring promised by the literature. The injection site feels a little sore for a day or two, but the headache I got on day 3 faded after a short walk. I’ve only had mild stomach upset, so it’s fairly tolerable.

I’m keeping it up for another month, but I’m also planning to lock in a bloodwork check; it’s always good to see insulin, glucose, and lipid numbers. Looking forward to hearing if anyone else has hit a plateau or noticed any tricks with timing.

  • amber281: nice 2kg in four weeks without losing leg strength, that’s pretty spot on for a first chunk, i’ll say, i’ve done a trial myself with about a 3kg drop and still kept the same squat form, so it’s not just water loss, at least that’s how i saw it in my own training stats, and i’d test injecting in the morning only after a light carb, like a banana, because i found it eased the stomach flare i got on day 3, plus i keep an eye on my HRV after a quick walk to catch any drop, have you noticed any shift
  • formerdana: Thanks for the banana tip – I hadn’t tried that. My HRV didn’t dip after walks, but I’ll track it closer. Have you done bloodwork yet? I’m still waiting for mine – curious if insulin or glucose shifts match the weight loss.
