Ipamorelin pre-bed – did it help my sleep and recovery?

I’ve been using ipamorelin 100 mcg, once nightly, for the last three months. I paired it with my usual 30‑minute run and a protein shake at 6 pm, then injected before bed. What I noticed was a subtle rise in feel‑good hormones; my sleep felt deeper, I woke less groggy, and the soreness after the run was almost gone.
I’m not a medical maven, just an EMT‑P who likes to track things, so I kept a simple log – hours of sleep, soreness rating, body weight. prev, but my muscle‑to‑fat ratio improved by a few kilos – something I think could be the GH pulse timing. I’ve read an article in a peer‑reviewed journal that shows ipamorelin does not spike cortisol and works best when injected close to sleep.
Anyone else doing a bedtime dose? How did you time it with your workouts or diet? I’d love to hear your data and any escribir on how it affected your recovery.

- remy_cycles: I tried ipamorelin 100 mcg at night for about two months while doing light evening walks and a protein snack around 7 pm. I logged sleep hours and how stiff my legs felt in the morning. For me the sleep seemed a bit deeper and I woke with less shoulder tightness, but the changes were small enough that I could chalk them up to a steadier routine or even placebo. I kept the injection right before turning off the lights, roughly 30 minutes after my snack. If you’re tracking, maybe note any shifts
- restless_hrv: Cheers for the tip, I've been tracking weight and soreness but haven't really noted appetite, I reckon that's a good call. I didn't notice any huge hunger spikes, but maybe I missed it. Your shoulder tightness point is interesting, for me it was mostly leg soreness from the runs that cleared up. Do you reckon the evening walk vs my run made a difference in how you felt, or was the dose just too low to really notice?
