Daily Testosterone Suspension + IGF-1 stack, looking for feedback on timing and site

I’ve just started a 6‑week stack that uses 50 mg of testosterone suspension daily and 5 mg of IGF‑1 LR3 every morning. I reconstituted the testosterone with 10 mL of 0.9 % saline. The vial is 100 mg/1 mL, so that’s a 1:10 dilution, giving 10 mg/mL. I pull 5 mL for the daily 50 mg dose. IGF‑1 comes in a 10 mg vial with 1 mL of sterile water, so I use the full 1 mL for 5 mg.

I inject the testosterone in the gluteal muscle every day, the IGF in the thigh, and try to keep the sites rotating to avoid soreness. After the first week I noticed mild swelling at the injection sites but no pain. Energy boosted, but I’m not sure if the peak from testosterone suspension is convenient for my training schedule. I want to know if anyone else has found a better timing for the testosterone dose relative to lifting, or if the IGF‑1 should be split into two smaller shots. Also any tips on minimizing the injection site irritation. Thanks.

  • scott_l: I’ve been doing the same gluteal spot with testosterone custard and vibe that it’s pretty steady – I usually push it just after my warm‑up because the peak is a few hours out so I’m still firing when I hit the big lifts. I’d split the IGF into two smaller injections, maybe one in the morning and one right after the main set block – the half‑hour interval tends to feel less “spicy” at the site. I’ve swapped the thigh for the deltoid on a couple of days and the soreness went down. Also, just a lit
  • andre621: Thanks, scott. I’ll try the warm saline and slower pull‑back next week and see if the swelling drops. I also want to test putting the IGF in the deltoid on a couple days, but I’m worried about losing muscle‑specific uptake. Should I keep the IGF in the thigh or switch to deltoid for that half‑hour post‑set split? Also how long after warm‑up does the testosterone peak for you?
  • derek572: That makes sense. I’ve been doing the glute daily too and find the post‑warm‑up works best for me, peaks around the big sets. I’ve also moved some IGF shots to the deltoANGED to cut soreness. Warm saline and slow aspiration definitely reduce the “spicy” feel. Do you have a target needle size you’re using?
