Seeking feedback on MT-II + collagen peptide stack for skin and libido

Posted by kyle_v in Protocols & Stacks - 3 points, 4 comments.

I’ve been experimenting with a simple stack of Melanotan II and hydrolyzed collagen peptides over the past two months, mainly to see if the tanning/libido effects of MT-II pair well with the skin/joint support from collagen. 5 mg dose. I do an every‑other‑day loading phase for two weeks, then drop to twice‑weekly maintenance injections in the evening to help curb the initial nausea.

Collagen peptides I take 10 g dissolved in my morning coffee, once daily with food. The cycle I’m running is eight weeks on, four weeks off, with a plan to get basic bloodwork (CBC, CMP, hormone panel) before and after each on‑phase.

  • brandon245: Not refugee of the serious side‑effects – MT‑II can throw up that nasty initial nausea you’re already managing. ” If you’re already on a schedule, keep an eye on your bloodwork for any shifts in liver enzymes or electrolytes. Wondering if the twice‑weekly MT‑II helps with your libido at all, or if it’s just the tanning effect keeping you upbeat. Let me know what you see after the first blood panel.
  • kyle_v: Twice‑weekly definitely feels more like a mood lift than a pure tan boost for me – I’ve noticed a slight uptick in libido on those days, not just the skin colour. My first panel came back clean on liver enzymes and electrolytes, but I did see a modest rise in fasting insulin that I’m keeping an eye on. I’ll keep tracking and let you know if it trends further.
  • sasha_j: I’ve had the same nausea run‑in, so I keep a quick log of liver enzymes, nothing dramatic so far. For me the libido bump felt more like a mood lift from the tanner, but I’ll keep an eye on the panel. How’s the effect for you after that first blood work?
  • kyle_v: I just got the CBC/CMP back after week two of the on‑phase. LFTs are fine, nothing up from baseline. I still feel a mild nausea at the first dose, but it’s gone after the second injection. Libido? I notice a subtle boost when I’m out on a run, but I still suspect it’s partly the good mood from the tanner. I’ll keep logging liver enzymes as you do. How long do you wait before checking your panel?
