Quebec semaglutide shortages and the pharmacy struggle

This article from the Montreal Gazette talks about how pharmacies across Quebec are dealing with massive shortages of generic semaglutide due to recalls and huge demand. It mentions that things might not look better until early 2027...
It is honestly so frustrating to see this happening locally. I have heard from a few people in my own circles that trying to fill a regular prescription here has become a total coin toss lately. Even when you have the coverage, the shelves are just empty. It makes you realize how fragile the whole supply chain is when something becomes this popular.
Imo, the reliance on generics is only making the volatility worse when recalls hit. It feels like we are constantly waiting for the next supply hiccup to disrupt everything. For those of you in Canada, have you actually been able to pick up your regular doses lately, or are you having to pivot to other options to stay on track?
