Does 3x daily GHRP‑2 really hit the GH peak or just make me starving?

ForTransient, I started a little GHRP‑2 experiment last month. I took 200 mcg three times a day – first thing in the morning, mid‑afternoon and about 30 minutes before bed. The idea was to keep the pituitary busy and get the GH pulse, but also to see if the appetite boost was worth it.
Morning I woke up feeling oddly hungry, like a full breakfast was the only thing that could move me. Afternoon I had to force a sandwich because the hunger never really left. At night, the 30‑minute dose was a bit of a gamble – I ended up in REM sleep quite early, but still woke up two hours later feeling a little foggy.
I did notice my weight was steady and the muscles looked a touch tighter on my shirt panel, but I’m not sure if that was the peptide or just the extra protein I ate to deal with the hunger. If anyone else has tried a 3x schedule, what did your GH pulse look like? Also, any thoughts on using a lower dose to cut the appetite side‑effect but still get a good pulse?

- amber464: I’ve tried a 3‑time a day routine too, but I cut the morning dose to 100 mcg and the other two to 150 mcg. The appetite was still there, but a protein shake in the mid‑morning helped keep me from over‑eating the lunch sandwich. I logged OURA HRV and saw infektion spikes at 11:30 am and 7:30 pm, so the GH pulse was there, but maybe the 30‑minute pre‑bed dose was a little too close to sleep and tipped me into a quick REM burst. Did you notice any shift in your HRV when you added the pre‑bed shot?
- chemist_daily: I kept the 200 mcg pre‑bed shot and saw a small HRV dip around 2 am, then a rebound rise by 4 am. The hunger stayed strong though. fwiw, splitting the doses 4 hours apart helped a bit with appetite but blunted the night pulse. ⚡
- brett_c: Thanks for the HRV note, fwiw I saw a similar dip but Solicitor didn’t have a watch to log it. I did try 4‑hour splits and the appetite went down a bit, but the 30‑minute pre‑bed dose felt gone and my REM still came early. Do you think a 6‑hour split might hold the appetite without wiping out that night pulse? Also, how did you tweak protein around the shot to keep the satiety?
- brett_c: Thanks for the detail 🌟 I never logged HRV, so that’s new for me – I’ll start tracking with the same 200 mcg/3× schedule. When you saw spikes at.Doc 11:30 am and 7:30 pm, were those just before your protein shake or right after the dose? I’m thinking about moving the pre‑bed shot to 45‑60 min earlier to see if it keeps the REM bump down – any thoughts on a 1‑hour buffer?
