R-Alpha Lipoic Acid injectables for metabolic support

I was reading up on some of the newer stuff coming out of the telemedicine side of things lately, specifically about injectable R-alpha lipoic acid. Not gonna lie, it sounds a bit intense to be injecting an antioxidant rather than just taking a capsule, but the maths on the bioavailability seems to make sense if you are trying to actually hit the mitochondria or deal with neuropathy issues. I saw some talk about how it helps regenerate things like glutathione and vitamin C, which is brilliant if you are trying to optimise your antioxidant status, but the idea of chelation and heavy metal stuff makes me a bit nervous.

I have always been a bit cautious about messing with my metabolic pathways like that without knowing exactly how it hits. It seems like a massive jump from just taking a standard ALA supplement. Has anyone here actually gone off the oral stuff and tried the injectable version?

I am curious if the nausea or the risk of low blood sugar is as common as people say. I am keen to hear if anyone has actually seen a difference in their energy or blood sugar levels since making the switch.
