New to peptides – how do I read a simple protocol and mix it right?

Hey folks, I’ve been reading about GH peptides like CJC‑1295 no DAC and GHRP‑6 but I’m totally lost when I see a protocol written out. For example, what does “100mcg subq ED” actually mean in practice? Do I measure that with an insulin syringe and if so how do I know the concentration after mixing?
I tried to follow a guide that said to add 1ml bacteriostatic water to a 2mg vial but the maths just didn’t click for me. Also, when people talk about “split dosing” or “pulse” are they just taking half the amount twice a day or is there a timing thing with meals or workouts? I’d love to hear how you lot first worked out your own mixing routine and what you looked for to feel confident you weren’t under‑ or overdosing. Ngl I’m a bit nervous about getting it wrong, so any plain‑English walkthrough would be really helpful.
