Ipamorelin before bed – did anyone notice less hunger but weird dreams?

I tried ipamorelin at 200 mcg right before sleep for a couple weeks, mostly curious if the hunger spike would hit harder than with GHRP-6. For me the appetite thing was pretty mild, almost nonexistent, which was a nice change. Sleep felt deeper the first few nights, I woke up less groggy, but then I started having vivid dreams that stuck with me into the morning.

Not nightmares, just really detailed stuff that made me wonder if the GH pulse was messing with REM somehow. Recovery wise my sore shoulders from lifting felt a bit better, though I can't say if that's the peptide or just sleeping more. I’m wondering if others have seen that trade‑off – less hunger but odd dream patterns – or if it was just my weird brain chemistry. Any thoughts on timing or dose tweaks to keep the GH boost without the dream side effect?

  • fasted_scientist: The vivid dreams thing is interesting because I had something similar when I ran ipamorelin before bed, though I can't say it was the peptide for sure. Could just be that deeper sleep stages make dreams more memorable, you know? Like you're not necessarily dreaming more, you're just recalling them better because you're waking up at a different point in the cycle. Ngl I'd be careful about assuming it's the GH pulse messing with REM specifically. I haven't seen much solid data linking ipamorelin
  • labrat_vik: That recall angle makes a lot of sense actually, I hadn't thought about it being a recall thing rather than the dreams themselves changing. The timing does line up though, the vivid stuff started after the first few nights when sleep felt deepest, so maybe that supports your theory. Did you stick with bedtime dosing or shift it earlier, and did the dreams fade after a while or stick around the whole time?
