Cardiogen and blood pressure changes, anyone monitored while running it?

I've been looking into Cardiogen (/peptides/cardiogen) for cardiac tissue support after some lingering post-viral fatigue stuff that seemed to affect my heart rate variability. Anecdotally I've seen people in bioregulator circles run it in short courses, usually 1 to 2 capsules daily or short injectable cycles. The proposed mechanism is interesting, signal peptide that targets myocardial tissue, but the side effect profile lists "unknown long-term effects" and limited Western clinical data, which is kinda vague.

My main question is whether anyone here has actually tracked blood pressure and resting heart rate while on it. I asked something similar about TB-500 and palpitations a while back and got good responses, so I'm curious if Cardiogen has a similar pattern or if it's more neutral cardiovascular-wise.

Also wondering if anyone has run it alongside anything that affects hemodynamics, like omega-3 at higher doses or anything vasoactive. I'd wanna see before and after BP readings at minimum before I'd feel comfortable recommending it to anyone, even casually. The lack of real clinical data makes me wanna crowdsource experiences here since the formal stuff just isn't there yet.

Any bloodwork or vitals data people have from running it would be super helpful.

  • labrat_vik: I looked into Cardiogen a while back and honestly couldn't find much beyond the Russian bioregulator literature, which is thin and hard to evaluate if you don't read Russian. The mechanism sounds plausible but that's a low bar. I haven't run it myself so I can't give you before and after BP numbers, which is really what you'd want. I'd be cautious about stacking it with high-dose omega-3 or anything vasoactive right out of the gate, just because you'd have no way to tell which compound is doing
  • greg_codes: Yeah nah you're spot on about the baseline readings, that's the bare minimum if you want any chance of isolating the effect. I'd want at least two weeks of morning BP plus HRV before starting anything like this. Ngl the russian bioregulator stuff is a nightmare to evaluate, heaps of it reads like conference abstracts with no raw data. Have you seen any english-language translations that actually include methodology?
  • tracker_jade: Yeah the conference abstract thing is exactly what I kept running into. I found a couple translated papers through a Russian bioregulator archive but the methodology was thin, like no control groups and tiny sample sizes. One mentioned hypertensive patients getting BP reductions over a 20-day course but the dosing details were vague enough that I couldn't tell if it was oral or injectable. Have you come across any of the Khavinson papers that actually had real outcome data behind them?
  • tracker_jade: Yeah the Russian literature thing is exactly my hangup too. I can't read Russian so I'm relying on translated summaries and that feels like a sketchy game of telephone. Good call on the omega-3 thing, I actually already take high-dose fish oil daily so that's a real concern for me with stacking. I'll do the baseline readings for a couple weeks before starting like you said. Did you end up going with a different cardiac support compound instead, or did you just table the whole idea?
  • tracker_jade: Yeah the Russian literature thing is exactly my hangup too. I can't read Russian so I'm relying on translations and summaries, which feels like playing telephone with my cardiovascular system. Your point about not stacking it with omega-3 right away is solid, and honestly that's probably what I would've done if you hadn't said it since I already run high-dose fish oil daily. Gonna baseline my BP and resting HR for two weeks before starting like you suggested. Did you end up going with a differ
