LSD-assisted therapy trials at 100-200 mcg, is the clinical framework actually scalable?

Been following the LSD therapy research stuff for a while now. The clinical trials using 100-200 mcg in supervised sessions interest me more than the microdosing hype ever did. The mechanism is straightforward, 5-HT2A activation changing brain network communication, and the long duration actually makes sense for therapeutic work. You get hours to work through something instead of a 20-minute window.
What I keep wondering about is scalability. These trials are one to a few supervised sessions with support staff. That is expensive. Really expensive. How does this ever become accessible to regular people if it requires that kind of infrastructure?
The raised heart rate and blood pressure side effects also make me think this is not gonna be a free-for-all. Anyone with cardiovascular stuff is probably excluded or should be talking to their doctor first.
I tried low dose methylene blue for focus recently and even that felt like something to be careful with. LSD is a whole different animal. The distressing experience risk without proper support is real imo.
Anyone here actually following the MAPS-adjacent LSD trials closely? Curious whether the anxiety-in-serious-illness results are holding up as they expand to broader depression studies.
