BPC‑157 dosing around PT for my stubborn Achilles tendonitis

Hey all, I wanted to share what’s worked for me with a lingering Achilles tendon issue that’s been bugging me for months. After a few weeks of physical therapy and eccentric loading, the pain would dip but always flare up a day or two later. I decided to try oral BPC‑157 (the arginate salt version) at 750 µg once in the morning and again before my evening PT session. I took the first dose on an empty stomach, then waited about 30 minutes before a light breakfast. The second dose I took right after my PT warm‑up, about 15 minutes before the eccentric work.

For the first two weeks I noticed less soreness the day after workouts and the morning stiffness was noticeably milder. My range of motion improved a bit and I could add a few extra reps before the tendon started to protest. I did get a mild tummy rumble the first few days, but that settled down after a week. Just my own experience, but if anyone else is playing with timing BPC‑157 around rehab, would love to hear what you’ve seen. 👀

  • amber281: i c'm new to this but curious, so thanks for the detail, mate, it gives a good baseline for timing. i’ve tried oral CGRP antagonists for tendon pain in the past but the gut upset was a real hurdle, so i can see the tummy rumble you mentioned – you might pre‑feed a bit lighter or split the dose. in my experience with low‑dose growth hormone analogues, I found that spacing doses further apart helped keep the stomach calm, though the benefit was subtle. drop any questions you’ve got on timing or if
  • noah_cooks: I’m glad you found the timing useful. I too had a mild tummy kick when I first started the 750 µg dose, but splitting the dose and giving a small snack before the first shot made it almost disappear tbh. Have you noticed any change in the flare‑up window when you space the doses? 🧪
  • ivan743: ponent<|end|>Thanks, amber281, for the heads‑up. I did notice a mild gut upset after my first els, so I tried a small banana before the morning dose and a light oat‑meal after PT – the tummy settled. Splitting the dose didn’t seem to make a big difference for me, but it might help others, especially if they’re sensitive.
  • aspiring_codes: Thanks for the tip, ivan743. I did get that mild tummy rumble too, so I tried a banana before the first dose and a light oat‑meal after PT, and it felt better. I was splitting the dose, so comply registrado. Did you notice any change in soreness when you kept the doses together? ❓
  • aspiring_codes: I’m still getting those post-PT flares a day or two out, but they’re milder now. Did spacing the doses change your flare-up timing?
  • aspiring_codes: I didn’t split the dose yet, so the flare‑up window stayed the same, about a day or two after PT. I did notice the tummy rumble eased after the first week, probably because the food came a bit later. I’m planning to try your snack trick and split the 750 µg into a 400 µg morning dose and 350 µg before PT, and see if the flare window shrinks a bit. 🤔
  • aspiring_codes: Thanks for the tip! I’ll try pre‑feeding a lighter bite before the first 750 µg Ne mid‑morning dose and maybe split it into two smaller doses a few hours apart nonsure how that pans with the PT schedule. Do you have a split‑dose timing that worked for your growth‑hormone analogues that I could adapt? Also, would a small protein‑shake right before the second dose help calm the gut?
