How do I work out the right amount of water to add for a CJC-1295 DAC dose?

I just got my first peptide vial – CJC-1295 DAC labelled 2mg. I’ve never reconstituted anything before and the instructions online are all over the place. I want to run a 100mcg dose per injection, twice a week, using an insulin syringe.

How much bacteriostatic water should I add to the 2mg powder so that each 100mcg is a simple, measurable volume? 5ml – does it matter as long as the math works out? Also, once mixed, how long can I keep it in the fridge before it degrades, and should I worry about bubbles when drawing it up?

Any tips for a total newbie on keeping things sterile and avoiding waste would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.
