GDF-11 cachexia risk at higher doses, anyone looked into the actual safety data?

Been reading up on gdf-11 (/peptides/gdf-11) and honestly the anti-aging angle sounds brilliant on paper, brain and cardiac rejuvenation, muscle stem cell activation, all that. But the side effect profile lists cachexia risk at high doses and theoretical cancer risk from the tgf-b signalling pathway. That second one honestly makes me a bit nervous.
Like, tgf-b superfamily members are involved in tumour suppression AND tumour progression depending on context right? So stimulating that pathway systemically seems like it could go either way. Has anyone actually dug into whether there's any human safety data at all or is it all mouse/parabiosis stuff?
The dose range listed is 0.1-0.5 mg/kg daily which is a pretty wide window. Reckon the cachexia thing is more of a upper-end issue? I'd be keen to hear from anyone who's run it and what they noticed for body weight, appetite, bloodwork markers.
Also wondering if anyone has thoughts on whether running something anti-inflammatory alongside it would blunt the effects or if that's irrelevant to the mechanism. Cheers for any input, just trying to get my head round the risk side before even considering it.
