Cerebrolysin 10-day course, worth adding on top of NA Semax?

So I've been running NA Semax Amidate pretty steady for a couple months now, mostly 300mcg intranasal once, sometimes twice a day. Focus has been solid, nothing dramatic but definitely noticeable compared to baseline. Honestly the biggest thing is just not hitting that afternoon wall where I stare at my screen for twenty minutes.
Been reading up on Cerebrolysin and the whole neurotrophic angle is interesting to me. The idea of a 10 or 20 day course on top of what I'm already doing sounds tempting but I got questions for y'all who've actually done it.
First, the IM thing. I've done subq before with other stuff but never intramuscular. Is that a hard requirement or have people gotten results subq? Not fixin' to mess with IM if I don't have to.
Second, did you notice anything that NA Semax alone wasn't already giving you? Because honestly if it's just "more of the same focus" I might save my money. But if the neurotrophic cocktail hits different, that's another story.
Also curious about timing. Did you run it alongside your Semax or take a break from Semax during the course? Seemed like stacking everything at once might be overkill but I dunno.
Any input appreciated, just trying to think this through before jumping in.

- chemist_luis: Yeah mate i ran a 10 day cerebrolysin course subq (just pinch the skin in the thigh) a few months back while still on my usual 300mcg nasemax twice a day. The im label is mostly for the clinical trials but plenty of folks on forums have used subq with no obvious drop in effect – just rotate sites and keep it clean. What i noticed was a smoother baseline after the course – less mental fog on low sleep nights and a bit quicker recovery after heavy study sessions. The nasemax still gave the sharp
- sleep_restless: The subq vs IM question is interesting because I have not seen a head-to-head comparison in any actual study, just forum reports like yours. The pharmacokinetic argument for IM is faster systemic uptake but with a peptide mixture like Cerebrolysin I am not sure how much that matters for the neurotrophic effect, which is probably more about sustained exposure over days. Imo the subq reports are consistent enough that it seems like a reasonable route, but I would not say it is proven equivalent, j
- fasted_scientist: The "no obvious drop in effect" bit is doing a lot of heavy lifting there mate. You ran subQ without an IM comparison so you can't really know if absorption was worse, you just know it felt like something happened. Could just be the Semax carrying the load and Cerebrolysin being a passenger. Not saying it didn't work for you, just that "plenty of folks on forums" isn't exactly reassuring evidence. Did you notice anything that felt clearly distinct from what Semax alone was already doing?
