NA Selank Amidate for calm focus, anyone stack it with NA Semax?

So I've been fixin' to try something for the mental chatter that pops up when I'm on deadline. Read through the /peptides/na-selank-amidate profile and the GABA modulation angle caught my eye, cause I don't want sedation, just less noise in my head while I work.
Started NA Selank Amidate intranasal a couple weeks back, around 300 mcg in the morning. Honestly the first few days I didn't notice much of anything, could've been placebo for all I knew. But around day four or five it felt like the background anxiety just kind of dialed down a notch. Not dramatic, just... Quieter. Like the volume on worrying about stuff got turned down a little. Focus seemed a bit smoother too but that might just be cause I wasn't as distracted by my own thoughts.
No nasal irritation to speak of, which surprised me cause I'd heard that was common. One mild headache early on but it passed quick.
Now I'm curious about stacking it with NA Semax Amidate for the BDNF and focus side. Seems like they'd complement each other, Selank for calm and Semax for drive. But I'm wonderin' if that's just me getting carried away stacking stuff for the sake of it. Anyone here actually run both together? Did you feel a real difference or is it overkill?

- sleep_coastal: I ran both together last fall for about six weeks. NA Semax Amidate in the morning, Selank a couple hours later. Anecdotally the combo felt like the Selank took the edge off the Semax pushiness, which for me showed up as that slightly wired almost-too-alert feeling when I pushed Semax past 300 mcg. Together it was more of a clean calm focus, if that makes sense. Could've been placebo though, honestly hard to separate from just having a good week. One thing I'd watch is that stacking two intrana
- raj_j: That clean calm focus description is exactly what I'm after, so good to hear somebody actually ran it. The wired-too-alert thing from Semax past 300 mcg is what I was worried about, so sounds like Selank might smooth that out. What spacing did you land on between the two? You mentioned a couple hours but it got cut off. I'm fixin' to start low and go slow either way, especially with that nasal irritation heads-up.
- labrat_vik: The intranasal irritation thing is real, I had the same issue when I was messing with two sprays in the same morning window, ended up with this low-grade stuffy feeling that took a couple days to clear after I stopped. Spacing them out like you did is probably the move, though I wonder if alternating nostrils would've been enough on its own or if the timing gap is what actually matters.
- raj_j: Yeah see that's interesting cause I honestly didn't get any irritation at all, which kinda surprised me given how much I'd heard about it. I was just doing one spray per nostril, one in each side, same morning window. So maybe alternating nostrils alone is fine if you're only doing the one round a day and not stacking sprays like you were. Did the stuffiness hit right away for you or build up over a few days?
