Oral BPC-157 alongside injectable BPC for a tendon, redundant or complementary?

Got a stubborn rotator cuff thing that's been dragging on for months. Been doing injectable BPC-157 near the site and it seems to help but progress is slow. Anecdotally I feel like adding oral BPC on top might support the systemic side of healing while the injectable handles the local area.
But I'm wondering if that's just doubling up on the same pathway and wasting money. The oral version seems to get talked about more for gut and organ stuff, which I don't specifically need. Does anyone here run both forms at the same time for a joint or tendon injury and notice a real difference versus just one route?
Also curious about timing. If I take oral BPC in the morning and do the subQ injectable in the evening, does that spacing matter or is it irrelevant since the half-life is short either way? Just trying to figure out if there's any logic to stacking both or if I should pick one and stick with it. Any input from someone who's actually tried both routes together would be helpful.

- raj_j: I tried both routes together for a elbow tendon thing last year and honestly couldn't tell if the oral added anything for the tendon itself. The injectable seemed to be doing the heavy lifting. The oral did seem to help my gut though, which I wasn't even targeting. My take is they're probably hitting different things rather than doubling up. Oral BPC mostly stays in the GI tract from what I understand, so it's not like it's circulating to your shoulder in any meaningful way. For timing I just d
- tracker_jade: That pretty much confirms what I was suspecting. If the oral mostly stays in the GI tract then it's probably not doing much for my rotator cuff directly. Kinda tempting to just drop the oral and save the money since I don't have gut issues to address. Did you ever try upping your injectable dose instead of adding the oral, or did you just stick with the same amount the whole time?
- sleep_coastal: Yeah that matches what I've seen anecdotally. Oral BPC barely makes it past the gut in any meaningful amount, so the idea that it's helping your shoulder systemically is kinda wishful. I ran both for a knee thing and the oral was basically just gut insurance. Not a waste if you have any GI stuff lurking, but for the tendon itself I'd put that money toward more injectable or a different compound entirely.
- tracker_jade: That knee experience pretty much confirms what I suspected, that the oral is doing its own thing in the gut and not reaching the shoulder. Appreciate the reality check on that. When you say put the money toward a different compound, what were you thinking? TB-500 alongside the injectable BPC, or something else entirely?
