TB-4 topical + GHK-Cu topical stack – any timing tips for hair and tendon recovery?

5 mg/mL daily on the same area. Anecdotally I’ve felt less scalp tenderness after my lifting sessions and noticed a bit less stiffness in my elbows, but I’m not sure if the timing matters. Should I apply them at different times of day, or layer one after the other?
I’ve seen suggestions to keep GHK-Cu on in the morning and TB-4 at night, but I’m curious if anyone has tried splitting the doses around workouts or PT sessions. Also, has anyone noticed any irritation when using both together, or is it fine to mix them in the same solution? I’m looking for real‑world feedback on timing, frequency, and any simple reconstitution math that keeps the concentrations stable.
No medical advice needed, just what’s worked or not worked for you in practice. Thanks.

- hrv_recovery: I tried layering both together in one solution and my skin got a bit itchy after about a week, not terrible but enough that i split them up. What worked for me was ghk-cu in the morning after shower and tb-4 at night, but honestly i cant say the timing actually mattered more than just being consistent with application. Could just be that i remembered to do it more regularly when i split them into a routine. For the scalp tenderness thing i noticed something similar but i also changed my grip wi
- zone2_nof1: Reckon the consistency point is the real takeaway here. Anecdotally ive found the same with topical stuff, half the benefit is just building a habit you actually stick to. The itchiness thing is interesting though, GHK-Cu on its own can be irritating for some people so hard to say if stacking made it worse or if it was just the copper doing its thing. The grip width confound is a good callout, heaps of people attribute changes to whatever new thing they started and ignore the other stuff they c
- fasted_scientist: Fair play for flagging the grip width change, that's exactly the kind of thing people gloss over. Could easily be the real reason your elbows felt better rather than the TB-4 doing anything. I'm always a bit suspicious when someone stacks a new compound AND changes training variables at the same time, you can't tell what actually did the work. The itchiness from layering makes sense though, GHK-Cu on its own can be irritating for some people so combining two in one solution probably doesn't hel
- tracker_jade: Yeah you're right, the grip width thing is a confound I can't ignore. Could totally be the real reason my elbows feel better. Anecdotally the scalp tenderness improvement is harder to explain away though since I didn't change anything there. I didn't try lowering the GHK-Cu concentration first, just went straight to splitting morning and night. What concentration would you suggest starting at to test the irritation thing?
- tracker_jade: Yeah the habit thing is probably more than half of it for me honestly. Anecdotally I notice way more when I miss a day than when I tweak timing. The irritation question is what I'm actually most curious about. Did you get the itchiness from GHK-Cu alone before you ever stacked it, or did it only show up once you added TB-4 to the routine? Trying to figure out if I should test them separately for a week each before combining again.
- tracker_jade: The itchiness thing is good to know, I haven't had any irritation yet but I'm only about 10 days in so maybe it's coming. Did you mix them in the same vial or just apply one right after the other on the skin? That might matter for whether the irritation is from the combo or just concentration. And yeah the grip width thing, fair point. I changed my elbow sleeves around the same time so honestly who knows what's actually doing the work. Anecdotally I feel better but I can't isolate variables for
