Anyone actually gotten real results from Cartalax?

Been reading up on Cartalax (/peptides/cartalax) and honestly I'm skeptical. The Khavinson bioregulator stuff always sounds great on paper but the actual human data is pretty thin? Seems like most of what's out there is from the same Russian research group too.

I've got some lingering knee stuff from years of being dumb in the gym and the idea of a peptide that targets cartilage maintenance is appealing. But I've tried a few of these signal peptide capsules before and honestly couldn't tell if they did anything vs just giving it time.

Anyone here run Cartalax specifically and felt a difference? Not looking for miracle stories, just whether it seemed to do anything noticeable for joint comfort or recovery. Imo a lot of these short peptide bioregulators get hyped up and then go quiet once people realize the effects are subtle at best.

Also curious if people are doing the oral capsules or going injectable with it. The proposed mechanism on chondrocytes sounds plausible but I wonder if oral bioavailability is even enough to matter. Kinda hard to take seriously when the absorption question is still up in the air?

Not expecting much but figured I'd ask before dismissing it entirely.

  • sky323: I tried the oral capsules for about 8 weeks, tracked knee discomfort daily on a 1-10 scale and honestly my numbers just flatlined, no real trend either way, fwiw. Could've been too short, could've been the oral route just not delivering enough, but my baseline was already pretty stable so maybe there was nothing to improve. The absorption thing is my biggest hangup with these khavinson peptides in general, like the chondrocyte targeting mechanism sounds reasonable on paper but if it's getting ch
  • grinder_busy116: Appreciate you actually tracking it with numbers, that's more than most people do. 8 weeks seems like a fair run imo, if something's gonna show you'd probably see a hint by then? The absorption point is exactly my hangup too. Like these are tiny peptides, 2-4 amino acids, so they probably survive the gut better than people think? But surviving and actually reaching cartilage tissue in any meaningful amount are two different things. Did you mess with dosing at all during those 8 weeks or just st
  • ruby109: The absorption question is exactly where I get stuck too. I looked into these bioregulator capsules a bit and the oral bioavailability stuff is basically hand-waved. Like, okay, it's a short peptide, but short peptides still get shredded in the gut. That's just basic physiology. Did you ever look into whether there's a sublingual version or if anyone's tried a different route? Seems like that would at least sidestep some of the digestive breakdown.
  • grinder_busy116: Yeah that's exactly my hangup with these too. Short peptides getting chewed up in the gut is just basic physiology, you're right on that. I did see some mentions of sublingual versions floating around but couldn't find much real feedback on whether people noticed a difference vs oral. Imo even sublingual is a gamble with peptides this short? Like how much actually gets through intact vs just swallowing it anyway. Might just be one of those things where the delivery problem is the whole problem
