Anyone tried SLU-PP-332 as an exercise mimetic? Curious about real feels

I’ve been reading about SLU-PP-332 being sold as an exercise mimetic and it sounds almost too good to be true – supposedly pushes your cells into fat‑burning mode without you having to move more. Imo the animal data looks interesting but human data is basically nonexistent so i’m skeptical. I decided to give a very small amount a go just to see if i noticed anything weird, took it fasted one morning before a light walk.

I didn’t feel any surge of energy or anything dramatic, just felt normal – could’ve been placebo or the dose was too low to do anything. Has anyone else tried it? Did you notice any change in endurance, recovery or just general wellbeing?

Or is it mostly hype until we get proper human studies? Would love to hear real experiences before i consider using it more regularly.

  • fasted_scientist: Gotta be honest, I reckon this one is mostly hype right now. The animal data on SLU-PP-332 is interesting in that academic "hey look what happens in mice" sort of way but the leap to "this works in humans" is massive. We've seen this story plenty of times before with other compounds that looked brilliant in rodents and did basically nothing in people. I've not tried it myself and ngl I'm not keen to either, not without at least some phase 1 human data showing it's safe and actually does somethi
  • practical_reads: Yeah thats fair, the rodent-to-human leap is where most of these things fall apart tbh. The dose being too low is definitely possible, i was being deliberately cautious tho so hard to say if a higher amount would've done anything either. Do you reckon there's any specific biomarker you'd want to see move before taking something like this seriously? Like vo2 max or resting metabolic rate or something else entirely?
  • curiousandre: Agree with you on the rodent-to-human leap, that gap bites a lot of promising compounds. But I'd also say feeling nothing at a low dose doesn't tell us much either way, could be subthreshold or could be that there's nothing there to feel. Either way, paying for a compound with zero human pharmacokinetic data feels like a gamble I'd rather sit out for now.
  • practical_reads: Fair play, you're probably right that sitting out is the sensible call. The subthreshold point is fair too, maybe i was too cautious with the dose to learn anything useful. Imo the thing that annoys me is the price tag on these novel compounds, you're basically paying to be a test subject. Did you look into the half-life at all? I couldn't find anything solid on dosing intervals and that alone put me off going further.
