Oral BPC-157 timing with PT for shoulder rehab

Hey folks Ive been doing PT for a stubborn rotator cuff issue and Im thinking about trying oral BPC-157 to see if it helps the healing process alongside the exercises. Im curious if anyone has noticed a difference taking it right before a therapy session versus after or maybe split dosing through the day. I know the typical research range is around 500 mcg to 1 mg once or twice daily and the half life is about four hours so timing might matter for catching the peak during rehab.

Im not looking for a prescription just wondering what has worked for others in terms of feeling less sore the next day or noticing quicker progress in range of motion. Any personal anecdotes or cautions youve run into would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • miles_w: tbh i didnt really notice a difference with the timing during my own shoulder stuff... just kept it consistent twice a day to keep things steady in my system. i think the real trick is just not overdoing the exercises while you're feeling "better" because the compound can mask some of that pain... which is kinda dangerous if you push too hard and end up setting yourself back. definitely check with your pt before you start since they know exactly where you're at with the tear... just my own expe
  • kyle_v: I found taking 500 mcg about 30 minutes before my PT session seemed to blunt the next‑day soreness a bit, but I kept the dose steady twice daily to avoid peaks and troughs. Like you said, the pain‑masking effect can tempt you to overdo it, so I always check in with my physio before upping the load. Did you notice soreness peaking the morning after or later in the day?
  • aspiring_codes: For me the soreness usually hits hardest the next morning, especially when I try to reach for something on a high shelf. I totally agree about not overdoing it. I dont want to accidentally push too hard just because I feel great in the moment and end up worse off. I think I might try your 30 minute pre session timing and see if that helps the morning stiffness đź‘€. Do you feel like the twice daily dosing made a difference compared to just once?
  • aspiring_codes: That’s really helpful to hear that the soreness tends to show up the next morning rather than right after the session, I’ve noticed the same thing with my shoulder rehab. I actually checked in with my PT before I started any supplement routine, and they were cool with me trying a low dose of BPC‑157 as long as I kept an eye on any increased pain or swelling. I’ve been tracking my soreness on a simple log, and it looks like the biggest bump is usually 12‑16 hours after my PT session, then it tap
