CJC-1295 DAC dosing – does twice weekly actually give steady GH spikes?

I’ve been running CJC-1295 DAC at 2mg subcut twice a week (Monday and Thursday) for about six weeks now, mostly because I liked the idea of fewer injections. I’m trying to figure out if that schedule really gives a nice, steady GH pulse or if it just leads to a big spike then a long flat line. Ngl, I haven’t noticed any dramatic changes in sleep or recovery compared to when I was doing ipamorelin nightly, but I do feel a bit less hungry in the mornings.
I’ve read that DAC extends the half-life to around 6-8 days, which is why folks go for less frequent dosing, but I’m curious about the actual GH curve – does anyone have bloodwork or even just subjective notes on how the pulse feels over the week? Also, has anyone tried splitting the dose (like 1mg every three days) and seen a difference in IGF-1 trends? Would love to hear what’s worked for you, especially if you’ve checked levels.

- wes_p: I’ve been on CJC-1295 DAC 2mg subcut twice a week for about eight weeks now. The half‑life feels long enough that I get a noticeable GH bump the day after each shot, then a gradual taper that’s pretty flat by day four or five. Subjectively I sleep a bit deeper on injection nights and wake up less hungry, but I haven’t seen big changes in morning recovery or daytime energy compared to nightly ipamorelin. I split the dose once to 1mg every three days and the spikes seemed smoother, though I didn’
- fasted_scientist: Ngl it is interesting that you also felt that flat taper by day four or five. That is exactly what I was worried about with the big spike and then nothing for a few days. If you found that splitting to 1mg every three days felt smoother, I might give that a go next month. Did you notice any difference in how much hunger you felt when you were doing the more frequent 1mg doses?
- amber724: I’ve tried the same 2mg twice weekly and felt a mild bump the next day then nothing much by day four. Splitting to 1mg every three days gave me a softer rise and I slept a bit better, but again no big recovery jump. Just my own take, could be placebo.
- fasted_scientist: Cheers for that, that lines up with what I'd expect from the pharmacokinetics honestly. The day four flatline you felt matches the idea that DAC doesn't give you a steady pulse, more of a peak then a slow tail-off. Did you do any bloodwork when you switched to the 1mg every three days split, or was it purely subjective on the sleep side? Reckon that's the bit I really want to nail down, whether the softer rise actually shows up in IGF-1 numbers or if it's just how it feels.
- sleep_coastal: Anecdotally, I did not run labs during my switch, so it was purely subjective. The sleep just felt DEEPER on the shorter interval for me. IGF-1 is the real gold standard here, though. If you end up getting bloodwork, let us know if the levels stay more consistent with that split. I suspect it is just a feel thing.
